Share Your Stories, Links, Favorite Charities, or Submit Articles
Have YOU any experience with or information about any of the charities, issues, causes, or volunteer opportunities presented on this site? Often times a link is a link is a link. Though each link or call to action is checked out before it is listed, we cannot make any guarantees about every cause or charity that is listed here. We don’t know the finer details of every issue that is posted or has been suggested. And we certainly haven’t participated in every volunteer opportunity that is offered. (Though we’ll die trying!)
This is where YOU come in. Share your own experiences with other users. The best way to do this is to simply post a comment about your experience so others can learn from you. You never know. You just might help push someone over the edge to dedicating some serious and valuable time of their own to support a worthy cause that you believe in. Or you might save them from wasting that valuable time of theirs on an organization that didn’t pan out the way you expected or the way they advertise.
Simply POST A COMMENT and it will become immediately visible for others to see. Or even better, share your story in the form of a blog post or article so others can read about your experience.
Together we are strong and the more we share the stronger we are. If writing, blogging, opinionating, or pontificating is your thing and it happens to relate to the general theme of this site, i.e. helping to make the world more aware, and a better place, or if you just feel passionate about the subject and want to contribute more regularly than just sending in one story, feel free to. All content is welcomed and reviewed (though not necessarily guaranteed to be published). Content may be the new hot thing, and on the one hand there seems to be a major demand for it; on the other hand, most would agree that almost all of us are feeling the pressure of our own levees breaking from information overwhelm.
So what the world needs now is not JUST “love sweet love” (which to be sure is a damn good place to start) but GOOD CONTENT. Relevant content. In regards to TuneInTurnOnHelpOut.org, the mission was and still is: to assist the global community of earth loving, people loving grass-roots oriented acitivsts, do-gooders, intellectuals, volunteering fanatics to turn each other on to all things helpful, world-transforming, consciousness expanding, or just plain alternatively-informative.
Whether you’ve unplugged from the Matrix years ago and are totally off the grid, or are just starting to get involved, see the light, and realize the mutual multitude of benefits of ’service to others’ and helping to make the world a better place, consider this website and organization not only a great resource to becoming more active and involved, but also a useful forum for you to share your own experiences and insights. If that awakens within you a calling to share more frequently with others, then by all means feel free to contribute as often as you like.
There are three-hundred and sixty-five days in a year, and lucky for us all, there are hundreds of thousands of different opportunities for us to become more aware and thoughtful citizens; and more importantly to become more actively engaged in DOING SOMETHING. There is a big need right now to give others as many options as are available to them to HELP - so that they can find the activities that suit them best. You may be aware of just ONE, but it may just be that ONE that transforms a life forever. There’s a lot of power in that. And more than anything, that is what TuneInTurnOnHelpOut.org is all about: empowerment of the individual to benefit the whole of our precious humanity. So don’t worry, we’ve got plenty of space. Contribute as often as you like. We’ll make room for you and your ideas.
